Another heat wave is among us in New York and walking around Manhattan becomes unbearable with the pollution from cars, stinky people, trash, dog pee/poop:
You get the point it’s hot…so it’s nice to have a refreshing healthy, cool treat when you get home and blast the AC to 60 🙂
This is what you have to look forward to:
What You Need:
- Popsicle Mold, this is the one I used and have no complaints..
- Fruit
- Stevia
- Blender: I recommend this:
 How To:
- Slice and squeeze out OJ! Or you can be bland and just buy fresh juice, IÂ prefer to make it…
- Slice up pineapples used for “filling”
- Put fresh OJ, frozen strawberries, blueberries, lemon juice, in blender
- Blend until it’s a thick smoothie and make sure to add some stevia to help with the taste.
- Pour into the mold and drop in the sliced pineapples or strawberries…pineapples tasted better..
- Put it in the freezer and you’re good to eat after few hours!
You, of course, can play around with it and potentially add in some protein. As of yet, I haven’t found a powder that’ll taste pretty good as a frozen pop! I’ll keep you guys posted when I do.
