Fusion lifters just finished Phase 2 and finished strong!
Read below:
James “CK” Hit:
- BSQ 140kx11
- CL DL for 175×5
- FSQ 135×1
- OHP 75×3
- Bench 115 x3
Matched His PR”s on the Snatch and Clean and Jerk with 85/105 despite a bloody hand and wrist issues.
Alex *”Frodo” Hit:
- BSQ 260lbs x8
- CL DL 330lbs x1 *Technique failed after double so we’re calling it a single
- FSQ 255×3
- Bench 190lbsx4
- OHP 65×3 *In this cycle he complexed presses with Jerks because of his lack of time. This was a great PR for him, so I’m sure he has more in the tank if he was fresh.
Mike “No Neck”
- BSQ 130k x12
- Bench Press 100k x7
- Finished with Snatch 85k 4×1 Clean 105 4×1
Mike’s program is a little different, he has some compensatory patterns that we’re trying to fix. Which will help him in the long run for technique, strength, and longevity. He’s already feeling stronger in the bottom position of the squat.
Reid “Toaster”:
For Reid we’re just focused on getting him some quality reps and general strength exercises. Because he’s new to the sport, we’re keeping it simple and seeing how he adapts.
His progress is improving significantly from week to week, because of consistency. Once he gets more of reps under the bar, things will start to “click” and we he’ll progress at a faster pace.
Next Phase:
We’re going to jump into a very well deserved de-load week and than ramp it UP! Phase 3 will focus more on specific movements and start to lean heavily on volume in the full lifts. The big general strength we’ve build in P1 & P2 should have good carry over to P3.
